Three Agricultural Research Service research units are located in and around Corvallis, Oregon.   Select the links below to view information about each.

  • Horticultural Crops Research Unit  - Investigating fundamental aspects of the physiology and pathology of a wide range of horticultural and other crops.

  • Forage Seed and Cereal Research Unit -  Developing scientific information, technologies, and plant materials to ensure a stable supply of high quality forage and turf grass seed, wheat, hop and shellfish.

  • National Clonal Germplasm Repository Collecting, maintaining, distributing and evaluating germplasm of Actinidia, Corylus, Fragaria, Humulus, Mentha, Pyrus, Ribes, Rubus, Vaccinium, and other specialty crops. 

  • Administrative Support Office -  Providing budgetary, safety, and human resource support for the three research units.
