Mission

The mission of the Crop Diseases, Pests, and Genetics Research Unit is to conduct basic and applied research on grapevine, almonds, stone fruit, and citrus to 1) reduce losses caused by plant pathogens and insect pests, and 2) improve fruit quality, horticultural characteristics and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses.
