Weather Stations

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center and the University of Arkansas Rice Research and Extension Center (RREC) have had two stations recording weather in Stuttgart, AR since 2008. Both stations record rainfall, air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and soil temperature at a 2-inch depth. Additionally, the USDA station records solar radiation, and the RREC station records photosynthetically active radiation and soil temperature at a 5-inch depth.

 

 

Both stations are logging data hourly and daily.
