 Dr. Aaron David is a research ecologist at USDA, ARS Invasive Research Laboratory in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. His research focuses on the ecology of biological control agents introduced to control Old World Climbing Fern (Lygodium microphyllum). These agents include the moth Neomusotima conspurcatalis (Crambidae) and the galling mite Floracarus perrepae (Eriophyidea). Dr. David also manages the mass rearing of these agents at IPRL and coodinates releases with partnering government agencies and land managers.
