Dr. Sunil Rawal is a research Chemist/Environmental currently working on developing new technology to recover and concentrate phosphorus from livestock manure in anaerobic digester effluents in combination with nitrogen treatment using anammox process for extraction of high-purity phosphorus products. He is also working on developing new method using microbial fuel cells for producing energy and clean water from wastes.
