The Delta Neighborhood Physical Activity Study was an observational ancillary investigation of the Delta Healthy Sprouts Project. The built environments of the towns in which Delta Healthy Sprouts participants resided were measured to assess physical environmental features and amenities, town characteristics, and community programs and policies that can affect physical activity among residents in rural communities. These 12 towns were located in 3 Lower Mississippi Delta counties -- Bolivar, Humphreys, and Washington.
