Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Models communicate using numbers, often vast quantities of them. People communicate with words, and do so most efficiently using visual images. MOSES is a product being designed by the members of four cooperating modeling projects and their user groups. It acts as an interface between the numeric world of the models, and the physical world of the user, using graphics on the computer screen. This presentation will demonstrate prototype interactive graphic screens developed to date for a single common user interface to drive four models. It will cover methods to reduce the time required for data input and to enhance input consistency.
