Accession Number KP406519.

Interpretive Summary: In a collaboration with Washington State University and ARS-Pullman, WA researchers, we identified and sequenced a 1,059 base pair Rhipicephalus microplus library clone that contained the coding region for a water channel protein, Aquaporin 2 (RmAQP2). The clone sequencing resulted in the production of a single open reading frame which has been submitted and published under NCBI GenBank Accession Number KP406519. Technical Abstract: In a collaboration with Washington State University and ARS-Pullman, WA researchers, we identified and sequenced a 1,059 base pair Rhipicephalus microplus transcript that contained the coding region for a water channel protein, Aquaporin 2 (RmAQP2). The clone sequencing resulted in the production of a single open reading frame which has been submitted and published under NCBI GenBank Accession Number KP406519.
