Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) using lithium adducts is the method of choice for the analysis of acyglycerols. The method can be used for the identification of the structures of fatty acid constituents, including the number and location of double bonds and hydroxyl groups. The method can also be used for the quantification of regioisomers of triacylglycerols.
