Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Membrane technologies such as microfiltration and ultrafiltration are energy efficient separation techniques which cause proteins little denaturation. They can efficiently separate and purify proteins contained in natural resources and give them additional values. In this paper, a membrane process for separation and purification of protein from natural resources is presented. Jojoba is used as an example of natural resource.
