Interpretive Summary: Normal-colored and rosy red fathead minnows are the third and fourth most valuable baitfish crop raised in Arkansas where 70 percent of all commercially raised baitfish originate. These photographs were used to publisize these baitfish and a report about research conducted at SNARC that was done to improve survival of the baitfish.

Technical Abstract: Photographs of two color varieties (rosy red and normal) of the fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas), a valuable commercial baitfish grace the cover and title pages of "Aquaculture Magazine."
