Technical Abstract: Pana soybean (Glycine max) was developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service and the University of Illinois Agricultural Experiment Station. Pana is a selection from the cross of Jack X Asgrow A3205. It was released because if its higher yield when compared to cultivars of similar maturity (Maturity Group III), its resistance to soybean cyst nematode (Heterodera glycines) races 2-5, and 14, and Phytophthora root rot (Phytophthora sojae races 2 and 3).
