Interpretive Summary: Soybean varieties developed by the USDA Agricultural Research Service and State Agricultural Experiment Stations are released for production in Indiana. These varieties differ in yield potential, resistance to pathogens, adaptation to different parts of the state, and in identifying characteristics. This bulletin summarizes information on publicly developed soybean varieties that have been released for production in Indiana. Soybean producers may use the information to select varieties with good yield potential, adapted to production where they farm, and that are resistant to pathogens that affect production on their farms. Descriptive information on variety characteristics will assist producers in identifying the varieties they have selected for production.

Technical Abstract: Publicly developed soybean varieties released in Indiana differ in yield potential, agronomic and identifying traits, pathogen resistance, and adaptation to different parts of the state. These traits affect where and under what conditions specific varieties should be grown for maximum productivity. This bulletin lists these traits of publicly developed soybean varieties available for production in Indiana so producers can select the best varieties for their management systems.
