Stressland is a new soybean variety developed by the USDA Agricultural Research Service in cooperation with the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, Wooster, Ohio. This variety was tested in nIndiana in cooperation with ARS scientists in Ohio. In Indiana tests, thi variety was superior in yield to other publicly developed maturity Group IV varieties. Stressland is a tall variety that has produced high seed yields under optimum crop management conditions as well as under conditions where environmental stress can reduce soybean yields.

Technical Abstract: Stressland is a new maturity Group IV soybean variety that, in Indiana test, has excellent yield potential and very good resistance to lodging. It has performed well in environments that subject the variety to stress as well as in highly productive environments. Stressland was developed by the USDA-Agricultural Research Service in cooperation with the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, Wooster, Ohio.
