Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The restriction maps for 12 of the 14 telomeres of Magnaporthe grisea strain 2539 and Guy 11 are presented. These were deduced by following the segregation of restriction fragment length polymorphisms identified using the telomere-specific oligonucleotide probe (5'TTAGGG3')3. The restriction maps of telomere 4 and 6 of strain 2539 were identical suggesting that a telomere duplication has occurred. These data genetically delimit the M. grisea genome with physical markers.
