We sequenced three Ambrosiella genomes, including the first for Ambrosiella grosmanniae. This data provides genomic resources to study beetle-fungus interactions and support development of ambrosia beetle biocontrol strategies. Technical Abstract: We report three draft genome sequences of insect mutualistic Ambrosiella spp. isolated from ambrosia beetles. Genomes were sequenced using Illumina PE150, yielding an average genome size of 27.2Mbp and BUSCO completeness of 98.80%. These genomes include the first draft genome of A. grosmanniae, symbiont of Xylosandrus germanus (black stem borer). |
