Interpretive Summary: An annual winter newsletter was published jointly by scientists with Oregon State University's Columbia Basin Agricultural Research Center (CBARC) and USDA's Columbia Plateau Conservation Research Center (CPCRC). The purpose of the newsletter is to provide updates and highlights of progress to producer stakeholders for each research program supported by the two Units. CPCRC included reports for hydrology, soil microbiology, crop ecology, and soil chemistry.

Technical Abstract: USDA-ARS scientists with the Columbia Plateau Conservation Research Center (CPCRC) at Pendleton, OR partnered with faculty at Oregon State University's Columbia Basin Agricultural Research Center (CBARC) to publish a winter newsletter. The newsletter is distributed by email to producer stakeholders and is posted to the Oregon State University website. The newsletter presents updates and/or highlights of research progress over the past year for each of the research programs supported by CBARC and CPCRC. This included entries by Dr. Nicole Durfee (hydrology), Dr. Kate Reardon (soil microbiology), Dr. Curtis Adams (crop ecology), and Dr. Hero Gollany (soil chemistry).
