In controlled indoor environments, computer vision systems effectively monitor behaviors such as feeding, lying, and standing. However, monitoring animals in outdoor settings, such as grazing systems, presents challenges due to the extensive area, which complicates real-time tracking. A promising approach to overcome these challenges is the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for behavioral monitoring. With advances in autonomous drone technology, UAVs can provide more frequent observations, offering enhanced insights into animal behavior and welfare. This study aims to predict animal behavior in grazing systems using simulated autonomous flights from UAVs. |
