Interpretive Summary: Plant diseases can be difficult to manage but growers can assemble teams to combat these diseases. A plant disease management team can be composed of diverse members, each providing different benefits. Growers should make sure everyone on their production team is aware of how to identify diseases and basic ways to manage these pathogens. Growers should also team up with other growers to learn from their previous disease management experiences and work together to manage diseases. Lastly, growers should team up with plant disease experts for management solutions and collaborative projects to develop new disease management approaches. By teaming up with others to manage plant diseases, growers will identify better ways to manage diseases in their crops.
