Technical Abstract: The 2023 volume of this newsletter includes contributions by pyraloid enthusiasts worldwide on a broad diversity of topics relating to the superfamily Pyraloidea, including phylogenetics, systematics, taxonomic identities, a new fossil, larval and pupal identities, distributions, and databases that include information about pyraloids. It includes selected publications and two new books on Pyraloidea taxa. On the 20th anniversary of GlobIZ, the taxonomic database maintained by pyraloid researchers worldwide, an article summarizes its genesis.
