Technical Abstract: Southern Peanut Growers Association is an important stake holder of ARS. There has been a decline in peanut exports over the years due to a variety of factors such as trade agreements, price, quality, and overseas testing procedures. A potential way to increase demand for peanuts & its components is to utilize peanuts in nonfood applications. This invited presentation explores the Future of Non-food Uses of Peanuts.
