Technical Abstract: The 2022 volume of this newsletter includes contributions by pyraloid enthusiasts worldwide on a diversity of topics, including a status update on Globiz. The latter is a taxonomic database maintained by pyraloid researchers. It announces a comprehensive catalogue of Indian Pyraloidea that includes 1,695 species. Students are highlighted that work on lathrotelines of The Philippines from an undergraduate student at the Humboldt University of Berlin and spilomelines from a graduate student at Incheon National University, Korea. A new book titled “Butterflies and moths of central Europe and their caterpillars VI. Small moths II” that includes Pyraloidea by Jan Šumpich and colleagues is also highlighted.
