Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Systems-level studies aimed at determining how soil properties are linked to plant production and ultimately animal response spatially are lacking. Included in this seminar is original research in three topics 1) Spatial monitoring technologies for coupling the soil plant water animal nexus; 2) Identifying how long-term conservation pasture management affects water and soil quality; and 3) Environmental impact assessment of tractor guidance systems based on management scenarios. These three projects will link agroecosystem components to optimize system resiliency and efficiency using spatial monitoring technologies.
