Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-Yd8qCbb0A. Interpretive Summary: Technical Abstract: Boxwood blight is a fungal disease of boxwood plants caused by Calonectria pseudonaviculata. This disease was first found in the United States of America in 2009, where it has become a problem in boxwood nurseries. Diseased plants cannot be cured and may eventually die if symptoms become severe. The pathogen has been spread to nurseries and to landscape plantings on infected nursery stock. Therefore, boxwood growers and plant health inspectors must monitor boxwood plant health to make sure that the plants are healthy before the plants are sold. The video is focused on how to scout for boxwood blight in nurseries and covers boxwood blight symptoms and their location on the plant. |
