Interpretive Summary: A "Favorite Pears" panel was held at the Northwest Washington Research and Extension Center in Mount Vernon, Washington in March 2017 featuring 6 Pacific Northwest pear experts. The panelists selected and described pear varieties they recommend for planting in the most western parts of Oregon and Washington. This article describes 25 of the panelist's favorite pears.
