Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Dr. Solis will be sharing highlights of her thirty years working in the Pyraloidea, the second largest group of moths in the world. Her interest has been higher-level relationships, but she has also been collaborating with Janzen & Hallwachs on the identity and habits of Costa Rican caterpillars. She is known worldwide for her knowledge about aquatic lepidopterans and will be showing a movie featuring an aquatic caterpillar.
