Interpretive Summary: Sawfly larvae are all plant feeders and can be of economic importance in agricultural crops, forests, and ornamentals. The distributions of many are incompletely known, and for many the sexes have not been associated. A genus and species is reported from Thailand for the first time, and the previously unknown male is described and separated from related species. This will be of use to scientists or anyone for future identification of species.

Technical Abstract: Beldonea impunctata (Wei) is recorded from Thailand and is the first record of the genus and species from this country. The previously unknown male of B. impunctata is described and separated from the closely related B. okutanii (Saini et al.) from India.
