Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) has been reported on red raspberry in Chile, Scotland and the Soviet Union and in Chile on blackberry. Its occurrence in Rubus is rare and seems to cause little damage. Except for one early, unconfirmed report, CMV has not been reported on Rubus in North America. This virus has one of the widest host ranges and is one of the most widespread of all plant viruses, infecting many crops and wild plants worldwide.
