Technical Abstract: ‘Eudora’ is a new purple skinned muscadine grape for the fresh market jointly developed and released by the University of Florida and the USDA-ARS Thad Cochran Southern Horticulture Laboratory, Poplarville, MS. Notable attributes of ‘Eudora’ include vigorous and productive vines producing medium-large flavorful berries with edivble skins and relatively crisp pulp. Berries within individual clusters of ‘Eudora’ tend to ripen uniformly, making it suitable for hand harvest of ripe clusters ‘Eudora’ has pistillate flowers and thus, requires pollination by self-fertile cultivars.
