Technical Abstract: The current state of cottonseed research is discussed. The report includes efforts to use cottonseed oil as a source of biodiesel, work to minimize the processing of cottonseed, efforts to develop industrial applications of cottonseed oil as lubricants, and efforts to improve cottonseed oil properties for better food and frying properties. The work provided an overview of current research efforts.
