HortScience. 41:1107-1109. Interpretive Summary: Twenty-four blue honeysuckle cultivars available to North America are described. The origin, description and uses of the cultivars are presented. The majority of the cultivars were released from Russia but two were released from Canada. These cultivars have fruits which look like an elongated blueberry but ripen earlier than strawberries. The plants are very cold hardy. These fruits could be a potential new crop for the northern United States and in Canada.
