Characterizing the discharge contribution from small agricultural watersheds [abstract]. 17th Annual Applied Statistics In Agriculture Conference - Program Abstracts. p. 13. Interpretive Summary: Technical Abstract: Hydrologists often use L-Moments and goodness of fit statistics to charactize the distribution for some kinds of watershed scale observational records. This methodology was used to examine the discharge and other related records from four small cropped watersheds with 25 years of daily data. Not one of the usual distributions (beta, exponential, GEV, gamma, lognormal, normal, and Weibull) in either two or three parameter forms was satisfactory for these data; hence, we will examine at least two distributions. |
