Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The two oldest, continuous field crop experiments in the South continue a trend toward higher yields. Since 1997, both experiments were converted to high-residue conservation tillage with annual subsoiling coupled with new technology and GMO (genetically modified organisms) cultivars. These recent changes in management have contributed to the highest recorded yields for all crops, over the life of the experiments.
