Interpretive Summary: This proceeding presents information given in a talk given at the San Joaquin Valley Table Grape Seminar. It covers characteristics, production achieved in trials and the best cultural practices developed to date. The varieties covered are: Sweet Scarlet, a mid-season red seedless Muscat flavored table grape; Scarlet Royal, a midseason red seedless neutral flavored table grape with large berries; Autumn King, a very late ripening white seedless neutral flavored table grape with very large berries.

Technical Abstract: The USDA Agricultural Research Service grape breeding program at Parlier, CA has released Sweet Scarlet. It is a mid-season red seedless grape with Muscat flavor. Scarlet Royal and Autumn King are in the process of being released. Scarlet Royal is a mid-season red seedless grape with large berries and neutral flavor. Autumn King is a vary late ripening white seedless grape with very large berries and neutral flavor. Patent applications have been made for these varieties. Production practices, yield, and fruit quality are discussed.
