Interpretive Summary: This report summarizes the water runoff and sediment erosion data (1976-1999) collected at the Water Resources and Erosion (WRE) unit source watersheds at the Grazinglands Research Laboratory, El Reno, Oklahoma. The report provides a brief description of the instrumentation and data collection, and displays plots of the monthly and annual runoff and erosion ndata. The WRE watersheds are a source of data for various research projects, and the runoff and erosion data presented in this report are shared between research projects. The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the available runoff and erosion data to scientists, collaborators those responsible for and planning and management of the WRE watersheds

Technical Abstract: In 1976 eight Water Runoff and Erosion (WRE) watersheds were built at the USDA-ARS Grazinglands Research Laboratory, west of El Reno, Oklahoma. An H-flume and a Chickasha water sampler were installed at the bottom of each WRE watershed. The H-flumes measure all runoff leaving the watershed, and the water samplers collect samples of the water and sediment mixture at predetermined time intervals during a runoff event at the H-flume. This report summarizes the water runoff and sediment erosion data (1976-1999) collected at the WRE unit source watersheds at the Grazinglands Research Laboratory, El Reno, Oklahoma. A brief description of the instrumentation and data collection is given, as well as a summary of the water runoff and sediment erosion data. The purpose of this report is to share the runoff and erosion data with scientists, collaborators and managers of the WRE watersheds. Plots for the monthly and annual runoff and erosion are provided for all WRE watersheds. Also tables of actual data are provided for monthly and annual runoff and erosion for all WRE watersheds.
