Technical Abstract: In the compendium, diseases of soybean found throughout the world are discussed. Photographs for identification of diseases and pathogens are presented. Among these are diseases caused by nematodes. The author was responsible for preparing several sections on various nematodes as well as the introduction to nematodes. This compendium is a valuable diagnostic tool for soybean producers, extension personnel, and researchers. Previous editions have been utilized extensively throughout the world.
