Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Madison is a semidwarf long grain variety which has improved resistance to blast and sheath blight diseases. Its later maturity combined with good yield potential and milling quality will allow producers to spread out their harvest time from other earlier maturing varieties without compromising disease resistance. Producers who have had success with Lemont will likely find Madison to be a productive variety.
