Objective:
Field testing and residue analysis of minor use pesticides.
Approach:
Conduct studies on candidate minor use pesticides in the field, nursery or greenhouse to obtain efficacy, phytotoxicity and yield data, and residue samples for analyses in accordance with protocols, standard operating procedures, and good laboratory practices. Determine the amount, persistence, and fate of pest control chemicals and their toxic breakdown products in minor agricultural crops.
