Objective:
The objective of this cooperative agreement is to develop and/or deliver region-specific scientific information and technologies for agricultural and natural resource managers that enable climate-smart decision-making and where possible provide assistance to enable land managers to implement those decisions.

Approach:
The Southwest Region Climate Hub as part of the ARS research unit based at the Jornada Experimental Range will worked closely with the University of Arizona Extension Service in developing science-based land management and conservation practices for ranches, farms, and forested lands in Arizona. This agreement continues these activities and specifically focuses on providing resources and information to the University of Arizona Extension Service to support and enhance their existing programs with customers and stakeholders in Arizona.
