Objective:
To promote international research collaborations and activities for increased global food security and economic growth. Provide sound technical advice and support to USAID's international agricultural research and development initiatives.
Approach:
CNRC scientist and staff will conduct germplasm evaluations in common bean and tepary bean to (1) increase yields for low-input agriculture, including low fertility soils that are limiting for nitrogen, phosphorus, and/or potassium, and (2) enhance nutritional quality for human consumption.
