Objective:
Objective 1: develop approaches to reduce nutrient losses from manure, evaluate fertilizer contributions of nearby feedyards to the neighboring crop and forage production, and add value to abundant stocks of manure and agricultural biomass.

Approach:
Objective 1: Postdoctoral research fellow will work closely with ARS-Bushland scientists and Texas A&M AgriLife staff to execute lab-scale, pilot-scale, feedlot-scale experiments evaluating nutrient losses in livestock-crop production systems, developing strategies to minimize nutrient loss, adding value to abundant stocks of manure and agricultural biomass.
