Objective:
To better understand the degree to which biocontrol reduces the size of weed infestations, and increase the probability of agent establishment, Cooperator will aid in quantifying the current status of flowering rush infestations and develop protocols and field introduction sites for Bagous nodulosus releases.
Approach:
ARS will quantify variation in flowering rush densities and phenology through monthly field surveys and prepare field sites for B. nodulosus introductions through the establishment of rearing ponds.
