Objective:
To understand the Molecular Mechanisms of virus movement in insect and plant cells.
Approach:
Boyce Thompson Institute and ARS will use a combination of proteomics, vector biology, molecular virology, cell biology to address protein-protein interactions in the insect gut that regulate virus movement through the gut tissue.
