Objective:
The objectives of this research are to 1) investigate new management strategies through the use of fungicide trials for the state of Kentucky, 2) develop best management practices for growers, and 3) educate growers on the importance of using resistant varieties.

Approach:
The PI will conduct fungicide trials in Kentucky to develop new management strategies. To educate growers, extension publications and webinars will be developed for distribution as well as a national U.S. Wheat and Barley Scab Initiative (USWBSI) list of moderately resistant varieties.
