Objective:
For the initial project under this IAA, BLM is requesting assistance from the USDA Agricultural Research Services to support an effort to understand changes in plant phenology due to grazing. This Intra-Governmental Order (IGO) describes work that will be conducted to meet this objective and provides funding to reimburse ARS for costs incurred during the five-year project.
Approach:
Work will include measuring changes in meadow phenology due to livestock grazing management, soil analysis, water resource and riparian/wetland monitoring and analysis.
