Objective:
Identify field Huanglongbing (HLB)-resistant/tolerant hybrids in the University of California (UCR), University of Florida (UF) and USDA Breeding programs via identification and validation of resistance/tolerant markers especially in mandarin- and Poncirus-derived plantings. Enable Advisory Board members to attend International HLB meetings.

Approach:
Conduct genotyping-by-seqencing and genotyping with single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers in parents and hybrids focusing on Poncirus-derived hybrids. Provide funding for Advisory Board to International HLB meetings in years 2 and 4 of the grant.
