Objective:
Acquire and process aerial images for Sonora Station and Martin and Reed ranches with TAMU and ARS to develop vegetation classifications based on the aerial images.

Approach:
A vegetation classification developed for classifying key plant groups based on aerial imagery and ground based vegetation sampling for the Sonora Station and Martin and Reed Racnches. This effort will be jointly managed and supported by TAMU and the Agricultural Research Service (ARS). All technical efforts involving the development and maintenance of the database will be the responsibility of the contracted organization.
