Objective:
Obtention of an Investigational New Animal Drug (INAD) for GnRHIIa to enable usage by stakeholders (Hybrid fingerling producers).
Approach:
Cooperator will commercialize GnRHIIa and request an Investigational New Animal Drug (INAD) from Food and Drug Adminstration. USDA will provide technical support to fufill the scientific requirement necessary to obtain FDA approval. This will allow GnRHIIa to be used by hybrid fingerling producer to induce spawning of female catfish.
