Project Number: 3094-32000-039-59-A
Project Type: Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Aug 1, 2016

Objective:
Determine the interaction between anti-tick vaccination and systemic acaricide for the control and eradication of Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus and R. annulatus.

Approach:
In-vitro feeding of IgG from vaccinated and non-vaccinated cattle will be completed with and without the addition of systemic acaricide. In-vitro results will be verified with on-animal stall and field studies.
