Objective:
Characterize the acaricide resistance in field-collected Rhipicephalus microplus in the State of Veracruz.

Approach:
Students from the University of Veracruz will collect ticks from cattle at various locations in the State of Veracruz, Mexico, where producers are observing treatment failure. Ticks will be brought to the Department of Parasitology at the University of Veracruz where bioassays will be completed on collected ticks using various technical grade acaricides.
